APPLICATION
In 2024, a fire devastated Middle Church, one of New York City's most beloved progressive faith communities. Beyond the physical loss, the institution faced a deeper crisis: how to maintain trust and visibility with its congregation, donors, and the broader NYC community while rebuilding from the ground up. With fundraising needed, the brand had to do serious work, communicating resilience, urgency, and hope simultaneously.

Awkward Converstations
For its first U.S. location, the Pilecki Institute needed an identity that could translate its rich European legacy into a clear, contemporary presence. The result is a system shaped by narrative, materiality, and accessible design, creating an environment where history becomes approachable, relevant, and alive for New York audiences.
